Working Principle
Working principle of backwashing: the arc surface of the filter cap of the filter head is evenly opened with long and carefully processed fine seams, which can not only prevent the leakage of the filter material, but also ensure the uniform distribution of gas and water. The filter rod is a plastic pipe with a small hole at the top and two air inlet slits near the bottom. After the space under the compressed air filter plate is formed, the air layer is gradually thickened, and the water under the air layer is constantly falling until the water surface falls to the long air inlet slits at the bottom of the filter rod, at this time, the air begins to flow into the filter rod from the slits. When the air flow in is equal to the flow through the gap of the filter cap, the water surface will stop falling, and the air stabilized in the first place will rise through the gap of the filter cap and go to the filter material layer through the gap of the filter cap. Due to the cross and uniform distribution of multiple filter heads, good backwashing effect will be achieved. Note (generally, if the backwash water sump becomes clear, the backwash can be stopped to control the unnecessary loss of the backwash water).
